King James Version Bible-A Solid Foundation

The King James Version Bible is my authority in all matters of faith and practice. This is the most accurate and concise word of God. The King James version bible created in 1611 by King James. But what about all the other translations before 1611 and why are they the authority, or why did they not survive until today.

Over 150 years of preparation and then Billions of copies sold worldwide!
The King James before 1611

  • 1450- Printing began with Johannes Gutenberg and his printing press
  • 1535-William Tyndale made the first edition
  • 1535-Coverdale Bible first complete English bible
  • 1537-The Mathews Bible
  • 1539-The Taverner Bible
  • 1539-1541-The large bible called,”The Great Bible”, was put out under Henry the VIII
  • 1560-The Geneva Bible which used by the Lord and it went through 144 revisions and had a good circulation run

Winston Churchill said the King James Version has 760 languages and a 400-year history.

So you can see that there were plenty of publications that occurred before 1611 and there were plenty of English versions but the King James Version of 1611 that God chose to spread his word to the world through ministry and churches.

Many translations, Why?

There are many translations in the world created in all different periods; this is a short list of the bible versions that you can buy just about anywhere they sell books.

  • NIV
  • NKJV
  • ESV
  • NASB
  • CSB
  • HCSB
  • NIRV
  • NRSV
  • Message
  • Amplified
  • NET
  • NLV
  • REB
  • CJB
  • The Voice
  • CJB
  • Passion Translation
  • Living Bible

But God is not the author of confusion and God said,”Heaven and earth

shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”, God said this in

Mathew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33, this was so important to our Lord

that he put it in 3 different Gospels in the KJV.

Christ died for all sinners, for all time.

Why is this so important?

Because, when you start taking away the foundation in the Christian faith then you begin having a different Gospel. When!, you start to change the following;

  1. The Deity of Christ
  2.  Jesus Christ is God
  3. The Godhead (the father, the son, and the holy ghost being 1 God)
  4. Salvation by Grace
  5. Start taking away heaven, hell, angels, devils, demons, and holiness

This happens  and its not right, the King James Version Bible is the foundational bible it comes from a strong lineage and it is not corrupt. Why are people not wanting you to buy a KJV bible? They say it is archaic and it is too difficult to follow and you should get another easier translation. Why?

Because if you put any other translation against the KJV it will reveal what the other translations omitted and changed; because, when you water down the Gospel and create confusion your chance of getting into Heaven while using any other translation is slim at best.

But is there scientific proof?

Yes there are many verses in the bible that a line with science, here are just a few;

  • Back when there was no telescope before the 1600s, man could not count the number of stars in the heavens but God knew. JEREMIAH 33:22,”As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David My servant, and the Levites that minister unto me”.
  • What does the Earth rest upon, Nothing?,”JOB 26:7,”He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.”.
  • And the shape of the earth argued about for years and years but written about some 2000 years ago. ISAIAH 40:22,”It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
  • The weather and how we came to know it as the study of meteorology. ECCLESIASTES 6:7,”The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to its circuits.”. (7) All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.”.
  • Evaporation and Condensation also mentioned in the bible. JOB 36 27-29,”For He maketh small the drops of water; they pour down rain according to the vapor thereof: (28) Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. (29) Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of His tabernacle?”.
  • And the blood that runs through all human bodies. LEVITICUS 17:11,”For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”.

So as you can see well before the study of the stars, medicine or the weather, the bible giving us truths for today.
The Bible is not just another book written by men it is a book penned by men through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. There are 66 books in the bible, 39 from the Old testament and 27 from the New Testament about 40 different men penned the words of these books. One Author, God!
Their writing covers a span of 1500 years in the making meaning in the course of 1500 years 40 different men wrote the books of the bible. In all that time, in all those people everyone agreed with everyone else.

When, you have God in control it is difficult to get it wrong.

Remember,  the King James Version is not corrupt nor ever been tamper with. It is Gods word as he intended for you to have, he promised us that his word would be left for us:     KING JAMES VERSION.

The Final authority in all matters of faith and practice!

God Bless You!

The KJV is my “go to” version to read, because I began learning scripture with it, and I tend to trust it, for the most part. While viewing YouVersion on my phone, I enjoy comparing the various versions, and one that lights up the most for me is the Young’s Literal Translation, which seems to be a more “verbatim” translation than the KJV. It’s a bit more work, because the sentence structure is sometimes unfamiliar, but it has the clarity of a beautiful diamond to me, so I enjoy the mental challenge. I always seem to gain more understanding when I compare the versions.
