So, I woke up the other day and found the front windshield of my 2005 Blue Jeep Wrangler cracked, it had a 10″ crack running along the bottom of the glass. Now, I never replaced this windshield it was still OEM and I have to say that 13 years is more than enough usage out of a windshield.

Now, I knew that I had to replace it and living in Minot, ND I knew that certain places do repair and or replace the windshield. So, I went to my golden rule of never purchasing online or otherwise unless you call or visit 5 different places and check out the reviews before making a purchase.

I then proceeded to make my calls, starting with the most popular ones and working my myself down the list. I called one place and put on hold and then they quoted me $325.00 for the replacement and immediately wanted me to book an appointment.

The second place I called that was a local business in Minot they did not answer the phone, the third place I called, they quoted a price of $275.00 for the repair the price was better but still too high. The fourth place I called was not in business any longer and their phone was not in service.

This was not good and I hoped that someone could provide a great service at a great price. Now, the 5th place I called was Choice Auto Glass a local owned and operated glass replacement shop. They quoted me a price of $215.00 complete with guarantee.

Well, I booked the appointment and today I went and got my glass replaced. I mean the service was fantastic, the staff was courteous and professional. They told me that it would take 2 hours and I was out of there in 90 minutes flat. There all certified technicians with years of experience and expertise in the glass replacement business. I felt that they cared about my needs and exceeded all of them. I recommend this shop to anyone in need of any windshield repair for their vehicles, I will post this to all of my social media friends.

Now, that there are more popular places to get your windshield replaced in Minot ND, but you should find out who makes the glass and whether it is made in the USA. And yes, other countries make glass that is of lesser quality which is bought at wholesale by glass shops that produce unwanted problems on the road later on for you. First, find out or ask the technician who makes the glass and if it has a guarantee for any period, what you might find out is that some top popular places buy their glass from overseas vendors to increase their profits.

A local owned company made up of  trained technicians who will work with you to give you an outstanding experience.
